FAQ

Where does your food come from?

We make as much of what we can in house, instead of anything preprocessed. All of our nut meat is made fresh in house, we cut all of our vegetables by hand, each smoothie is made from fruit and fruit juices with no syrups, and we press your vegetable juice for you while you wait. We do outsource some items, like our bread, but we make sure to maintain our all natural purpose.

What is in the nut burger?

The nut burger is a mix of almonds, walnuts, cashews, carrots, rice, a plethora of spices, and of course, our namesake, sunflower seeds.

Can you make anything gluten free?

We can make almost everything on our menu gluten free. We have gluten free buns for all our burgers or sandwiches, as well as gluten free tortillas for any of our tacos or burritos.

How about vegan options?

Absolutely the same as our gluten free options! With very few exceptions we can do everything vegan, just make sure to ask and we will let you know for sure what we can and can’t do.

Do you take phone in orders?

We try our hardest to! Spring and summer is our busiest season, but feel free to call ahead in the winter.

What is your wait time like?

Wait times vary during the day, during lunch it generally ranges from 15-25 minutes. The reason that it takes a while is that nothing is prepared prior to your ordering. When you order, we throw everything fresh on the grill for you. Trust us, it’s worth the wait!

What’s your most popular item?

It would definitely be our Nut Burger. It’s been voted the #1 veggie burger in Sacramento, for good reason too!

I’m allergic to soy, is that a problem?

We don’t use soy in any of our products, but do have it in stock and use it on some items. Please mention any and all allergies at the window.

What days are you open?

We are open Tuesday-Sunday aside from all major holiday. On weeks with a holiday we are open Mondays.
